Booking & Pricing
How much does the tour cost?
Tours start at $79 plus fees. Each tour lists its own price on its page.
How do I book a tour?
Book online, or save 7% by calling us at (541) 705-2438.
Can I book over the phone?
Yes — just call us at (541) 705-2438.
Do you accept same-day bookings?
Yes. You can book by phone up to 2 hours before the tour.
When is the booking cutoff?
2 hours before the tour start time.
How far in advance should I book?
For summer, as far ahead as possible — we often sell out. The rest of the year we're less busy.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Can I pay cash when I arrive?
No.
Are there any hidden fees?
There's a 7% fee our booking software charges. Booking by phone saves it.
Do you offer group discounts?
No, but we can accommodate large and corporate groups — just ask.
Do you offer military or senior discounts?
Yes — use code Chat10 for 10% off.
Can I book a tour as a gift?
Yes, we offer gift cards.
Can I book multiple tours at once?
Yes.
Can I book through a hotel concierge?
Some hotels, yes.
When will I receive my confirmation email?
Within a couple of minutes of booking.
Is tipping expected?
No. If you'd like to tip, email us and we'll send a link.
Changes, Cancellations & Policies
Can I change my reservation?
Yes — for direct bookings there's a button in your confirmation email where most changes can be made. Tell us what you'd like to change and we'll help.
What is your cancellation policy?
Everything except custom/private tours is refundable up until 24 hours before the start time.
Can I cancel?
Yes — email us and we'll assist within 24 hours. Cancel at least 24 hours before start time for a full refund.
Do you have a waitlist if a tour is full?
Yes, though cancellations are rare.
What if I'm running late?
Out of respect for other passengers, we're typically unable to wait for late arrivals.
On the Tour
Is this a bus tour or a hiking tour?
More of a hiking tour — about 1 hour in the bus and 2.5 hours hiking.
How long is the tour?
3.5 hours, plus 30 minutes on either side if you're picked up/dropped off downtown.
What time does the tour start and end?
Times shift through the year so we catch the waterfalls in the best light — and the sunset.
How much walking is there?
About 1.5 miles of easy walking, some on gravel. No single hike is longer than half a mile.
Are the tours physically demanding?
No.
Is there a guide on the tour?
Yes — our guides have hundreds of Google reviews thanking them by name.
Do you teach about local history or ecology?
Yes.
Are food and drinks included?
We provide water and seasonal beverages. You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Are restrooms available along the route?
Yes.
Do you have rest stops during the tour?
Yes.

Yes.
What happens if there's bad weather?
We have heat for winter and A/C for summer. It's always nice on the Waterfall Shuttle.
How many people are in each group?
Up to 14 per van — we can run multiple vans for larger groups.
Can I bring a drone or camera gear?
Cameras and phones, yes. Note that drones are not permitted at Multnomah Falls.
What kind of wildlife might we see?
Eagles, heron, osprey, deer, elk, salmon, trout, sturgeon, and more!
Is it safe?
Yes.
What if I'm afraid of falling in the water?
You won't — there's a safe distance between you and the water.
Getting There & Pickup
Where are you located?
Tours meet at Migration Brewing in Gresham — about 15 minutes from PDX, between Portland and the waterfalls.

18188 NE Wilkes Road, Portland, OR — ~15 minutes from downtown Portland and ~10 minutes from the Gorge.
Is transportation included?
Yes — we pick up at all downtown Portland hotels.

How early should I arrive?
Follow your confirmation email: arrive at Migration Brewing 15 minutes early, or be outside your hotel 45 minutes before start time.
Is there parking available?
Yes — free, safe parking at Migration Brewing Gresham, 18188 NE Wilkes Road.
Can I take public transportation to your location?
Yes.
Is Uber or Lyft available in the area?

Who Can Go & Accessibility
Can I do the tour?
The tour involves about 1.5 miles of walking on trails with some hills. No hike is longer than half a mile.
Is the tour kid-friendly?
Yes.
Which tour is best for kids?
Probably the daytime tour if they need an early bedtime — the sunset tour ends late in summer.
Are pets allowed?
Yes.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes — make a note at booking or email us so we bring an accessible vehicle.
Can seniors participate?
Yes. There's some walking, but you can always opt out of a hike and still have a great experience.
Are there any age restrictions?
No.
Can I join if I have a medical condition?
If your doctor says it's okay.
Do I need to know how to swim or bike?
No.
What should I wear / bring?
Check the weather and dress in layers — the waterfalls have a cooling effect. There's some walking on gravel. Closed-toe shoes are better but not required.

Do I need a permit to visit Multnomah Falls?
Yes if you go on your own — but not on our tour. We're permit-exempt.
What's the best time of day to visit the Gorge?
The sunset tour — it's spectacular.
